The Wading Pool Attendant, under the direction of the Recreation Program Specialist and Aquatic Coordinator, is primarily responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for patrons at the Town Wading Pool. Attendants will assume responsibility of pool maintenance, preventative supervision, public education and delivering effective first aid when needed.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of 14 years of age at the time of employment.
Must hold and maintain the following qualifications:
- Standard First Aid Certification
- CPR – Level C
- Automated External Defibrillator- High level of responsibility and accountability.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a small team.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake is an asset.
Successful candidates will be required to work the summer season, July and August. Hours of work vary can work up to 44 hours per week. Weekend and evening work may be required.
